Symphony Space will webcast its 2005 Wall to Wall Sondheim concert on March 22 beginning at 11am on Symphony Space Live. The webcast, which will conclude at 11pm, is scheduled to coincide with Sondheim’s 80th birthday on the 22nd.

The 12-hour concert was originally offered at the venue on March 19, 2005 and featured performances by Elaine Stritch, Angela Lansbury, Patti LuPone, Donna Murphy, George Hearn, Michael Cerveris, Laura Benanti, and Neil Patrick Harris, among others.

In addition to songs from the songwriter’s famed shows, such as Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, A Little Night Music, Follies and Into the Woods, Wall to Wall Sondheim featured first-time performances of songs Sondheim wrote early in his career as well as previously unheard instrumental pieces.
