Celia Keenan-Bolger, Sherie Rene Scott, et al. to Join Michael Friedman for American Songbook Concert

Composer and lyricist Michael Friedman will be joined by de’Adre Aziza, Alan H. Green, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Caitlin Miller, Sherie Rene Scott, Rachel Stern, Robbie Collier Sublett, Dito van Reigersberg, and Benjamin Walker for his American Songbook concert, Michael Friedman: Adventures in Reality, to be presented at the Allen Room of Frederick P. Rose Hall on Saturday, January 30, at 8:30pm.

The evening of songs is based on actual dialogue from both everyday people and historical figures. It will be directed by Steven Cosson with music direction by Kimberly Grigsby. Musicians will include Thad DeBrock (guitar), Steve Gilewski (bass), Richard Livingston Huntley (drums).
