Steppenwolf for Young Adults has released new rehearsal photos from its upcoming world premiere production of This Is Modern Art (based on true events), which will run from February 25-March 14. Lisa Portes directs.

Written by Louder Than a Bomb founder Kevin Coval and playwright/spoken word artist Idris Goodwin, the show follows a group of Chicago teenage graffiti artists who are willing to risk everything for their art. This Is Modern Art "provides a glimpse into the lives of anonymous graffiti artists and asks us to question the true purpose of art."

The cast of features Brittani Arlandis Green (ensemble), Jerry MacKinnon (Seven), J. Salomé Martinez Jr (Jose/JC), Kelly O’Sullivan (Selena), Jessie D. Prez (Dose) and Chris Rickett (ensemble).
