Roundabout Theatre Company has named Fiasco Theater its Company-in-Residence.

The organization will provide Fiasco, best known for its 2015 production of Into the Woods and reimagined Shakespearean productions like Cymbeline and Measure for Measure, with an artistic home and full use of company resources to continue developing work. Fiasco was founded by Jessie Austrian, Noah Brody, and Ben Steinfeld.

Roundabout has also named playwright Jenny Rachel Weiner as a 2017 associate artist of the company. Weiner, the writer of Roundabout Underground's recent Kingdom Come, joins an associate artist roster that includes Mark Brokaw, Doug Hughes, Bill Irwin,
Pam MacKinnon, Joe Mantello, Kathleen Marshall, and Theresa Rebeck.

Additionally, the company has named Whitney White a fellow of Roundabout's Directing Fellowship, a residency that will last six months and includes serving as assistant director for If I Forget and the upcoming Marvin's Room. Roundabout has also launched Space Jam, an initiative designed to give young playwrights the time and space to work away from crowded coffee shops and shared living spaces.
