Women's Project Theater held its annual gala last night, Monday, March 27, in honor of Emmy Award winner Debra Messing and Ann M. Sarnoff, president of BBC Worldwide North America. Tony Award winner Lena Hall (How to Transcend a Happy Marriage) hosted the evening. Check out photos from the event in the gallery below.

The evening included a dinner as well as special appearances and performances from the Bengsons, Christina Bianco (The Marvelous Wonderettes), Kate Lear, Kathy Najimy (Hocus Pocus), and Ana Villafañe (On Your Feet!).

Women's Project's annual gala celebrates outstanding women who have taken risks, pushed limits, and broken ground in a wide variety of fields. Honorees are chosen for being leaders committed to advancing women’s narratives and to sharing women’s voices onstage, in film, and on television.
