Broadway Kids From Matilda and School of Rock to Sing You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown

Van Dean will direct the concert presentation of Clark Gesner’s Tony-nominated musical.

Broadway Records has announced plans to present a concert version of You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown at 54 Below on September 2 and 3 at 7pm. The event will feature young Broadway stars from School of Rock, Finding Neverland, Matilda The Musical, Les Misérables, Evita, and Big Fish.

54 Sings "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown" will feature the Grammy-nominated music by Clark Gesner, with additional music from Andrew Lippa. Winner of the 1999 Drama Desk Award for Best Revival of a Musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown includes the characters from the beloved Peanuts comic strip. The musical boasts many show tune favorites such as "My Blanket and Me," "Book Report," "Snoopy," "My New Philosophy," "Beethoven Day," "The Kite," "Suppertime," and more.

The concert will star Joshua Colley (Les Misérables) as Charlie, Aidan Gemme (Finding Neverland) as Snoopy, Luca Padovan (School of Rock) as Linus, Milly Shapiro (Matilda) as Sally, Mavis Simpson-Ernst (Evita) as Lucy, and Zachary Unger (Big Fish) as Schroeder.

54 Sings "You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown" is produced and directed by Van Dean, with music direction by Michael Moritz Jr.
