Harvey Evans, Edmund Gaynes, et al. to Be Honored at Dancers Over 40 Luncheon; Richard Skipper to Host

Producer and former Broadway performer Edmund Gaynes will receive a special Legacy Award at the Dancers Over 40 gala, to be held at Swing 46 Restaurant on Sunday, December 12 at 2pm.

Fred Curt, Harvey Evans, Stuart Hodes, Richard Korthaze and Ken Urmston
will also be honored for their long careers and contributions to the art of the dance. Richard Skipper will host as Carol Channing during the event.

Gaynes has appeared in 13 Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, and over 100 television shows. He operates Off-Broadway’s St Luke’s Theatre, where Skipper will soon be presenting his show Richard Skipper as Carol Channing in Concert, and Actors Temple Theatre. His current producing credits include Zero Hour, Dietrich and Chevalier: The Musical, Black Angels Over Tuskegee, and Danny and Sylvia: The Danny Kaye Musical. He is also producing the Broadway-aimed Gilligan’s Island: The Musical.
