Heather MacRae, Judy McLane, and Mark Nadler will star in Applause! Applause! The Music of Charles Strouse, a concert to be held at 8pm on Friday, October 14 at Flushing Town Hall. Strouse has written the music for nearly a dozen Broadway shows, winning Tony Awards for Bye Bye Birdie, Annie, and Applause.

MacRae’s credits include the original Broadway productions of Hair and Falsettos. McLane is currently starring on Broadway in Mamma Mia! and received a Drama Desk nomination for her work in the Off-Broadway musical Johnny Guitar. Nadler, one of cabaret’s most popular performers, will be appearing at the 2005 New York Cabaret Convention on October 21.

This is the first concert in Flushing Town Hall’s new “Broadway Café” series, which will continue with Aren’t We a Pair? Sondheim in Song (November 18) and To Life! The Lyrics of Sheldon Harnick (December 16).
