Cahoon, Rudetsky, Saltzberg, Sweeney on Ars Nova Schedule

Kevin Cahoon, Seth Rudetsky, Sarah Saltzberg, and Julia Sweeney are among the artists who will be appearing next month at the Ars Nova Theater (511 West 54th Street).

Cahoon, who plays the Childcatcher in the Broadway musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, will bring his band Ghetto Cowboy back to Ars Nova on Monday, November 14 at 9:30pm. He is set to co-star in the upcoming Broadway musical The Wedding Singer. Rudetsky, the host of Seth’s Broadway Chatterbox will perform Deconstructing with Seth Rudetsky: The Good, the Bad, and the Headachy on Monday, November 7 and 21 at 9:30pm.

Saltzberg, a star of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, will serve up Dear Diary: The Making of Logainne Schwartzengrubenairre on Monday, November 7 at 8pm. Her castmates Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Celia Keenan-Bolger, and Lisa Howard will be on hand for this show, which is part of Ars Nova’s Broadway Spotlight series.

Sweeney, best known for her work on Saturday Night Live, will bring her new theater piece Letting Go of God to Ars Nova for nine performances between November 11 and 26. Her previous theater work includes The Family Way (also seen at Ars Nova) and God Said Ha! Sweeney is currently a writer for the hit TV series Desperate Housewives.
