Soho Rep has announced its 2011-2012 season.

The company will begin the year with David Adjmi’s Elective Affinities, which will begin performances on November 17. Sarah Benson will direct the site-specific piece, which centers on an octogenarian offering up a portrait of his life at his apartment.

The season will also include Marius von Mayenburg’s satire about capitalism, The Ugly One, which will be directed by Daniel Aukin and begin performances on January 26. The company’s third offering, slated for June, will be Annie Baker’s new version of Uncle Vanya, to be directed by Sam Gold and star Reed Birney.

In addition to these productions, the theater will continue its lab series, presenting plays in development, including Profanity by Sylvan Oswald, The Octoroon by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins and Somewhere Fun by Jenny Schwartz.
