Donnie Mather’s Kaddish (or The Key in the Window) to Play 4th Street Theatre

Donnie Mather will perform Kaddish (or The Key in the Window) at the 4th Street Theatre, to run September 29-October 9. Kim Weild will direct the production.

Based on the poem by Allen Ginsberg, the show is a multimedia memory play, focusing on a son’s mourning the death of his mother.

Mather and Weild previously collaborated on Charles Mee’s Fêtes de la Nuit and a production of Uncle Vanya, which was seen at the Prague Quadrennial.

The creative team will include Brian H. Scott (scenic and lighting design), Darron L. West (sound design), C. Andrew Bauer (projection design), and Terese Wadden (costume design).
