On Thursday, September 16, cast members Laura Linney, Brian d’Arcy James, Eric Bogosian, and Christina Ricci spoke to members of the press about Donald Margulies’ Time Stands Still, which will return to Broadway at the Cort Theatre, beginning previews on September 23. The production, which will have an official opening on October 7, will be directed by Daniel Sullivan.

The play focuses on a journalist and a photographer, long-term partners who share a passion for documenting the realities of war, who face the prospect of living a more conventional life. The work was nominated for a 2010 Tony Award for Best Play, as was Linney’s performance for Best Actress in a Play.

Ricci is the cast’s sole newcomer, taking on the role of Mandy, which was originally played by Alicia Silverstone. The show marks the actress’ Broadway debut.

The creative team includes John Lee Beatty (scenic design), Rita Ryack (costume design), Peter Kaczorowski (lighting design), Darron L West (sound design), Peter Golub (original music), and Thomas Schall (fight direction).
