Matt Bogart, Tituss Burgess, Montego Glover, and Christopher Jackson are scheduled to perform at The Broadway League and The Coalition of Broadway Unions and Guilds’ second annual Broadway Salutes, a free public celebration honoring the myriad of artists who have made Broadway great, to be held in Father Duffy Square on Tuesday, September 14 at 4pm.

Also scheduled to participate in the event are Andre de Shields, Richard Easton, Dana Ivey, Laurence Luckinbill, and Marni Nixon, as well as New York City Council Speaker Hon. Christine Quinn and Katherine Oliver, Commissioner for the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.

Broadway Salutes honors a wide-range of theater professionals — including stagehands, actors, producers, casting directors, general managers, theater owners, publicists, ushers, designers, directors, choreographers, and musicians — who have dedicated their careers to the Broadway theater industry. It gives special recognition for those individuals who have worked 25, 35 and 50 years in their respective theatrical craft.

The ceremony will include a Stories 2010 segment, which will feature anecdotes about backstage legends, tales of leading Broadway performers, moments in the life of a designer or reminiscences about the road to success.
