Plummer will play the patriarch of the family with dark secrets, who hires a disgraced journalist (Craig) and his partner, a pierced and tattooed hacker (Mara), to solve a 40-year unsolved murder.

Plummer won Tony Awards for Cyrano and Barrymore and most recently appeared on Broadway in Inherit the Wind and King Lear. He won the Evening Standard Award for the London production of Becket and frequently performs at the Shakespeare Stratford Festival. Plummer received an Academy Award nomination earlier this year for The Last Station and will be seen in the forthcoming movie, Priest. His many other film and television credits include The Sound of Music, The Man Who Would Be King, and A Beautiful Mind.
