The pair met when they co-starred in the film Evening, alongside Vanessa Redgrave, Meryl Streep, and Mamie Gummer.

Dancy will star Off-Broadway in MCC's production of The Pride. He appeared on Broadway in David Grindley's production of Journey's End. His many films include Adam, Black Hawk Down, Ella Enchanted, The Jane Austen Book Club, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. He also received an Emmy Award nomination for his work in the HBO miniseries Elizabeth I.

Danes starred on Broadway in Grindley's production of Pygmalion and has danced at PS122. She will be seen on the big screen later this year in Me and Orson Welles. Her many film and television credits include Stardust, Shopgirl, Romeo & Juliet, and My So-Called Life.
