Eagan, Kellerman, Lanier and Pettiford Head Cast of L.A. Wild Party

Fosse stars Valarie Pettiford and Jane Lanier, Tony Award winner Daisy Eagan, and screen legend Sally Kellerman head the cast of The Blank Theater Company’s production of Michael John LaChiusa’s The Wild Party, which will run October 11-November 20 at the Hudson Mainstage.

Pettiford will play Queenie, Lanier will play Kate, Eagan will play Sally, and Kellerman will play Dolores. The cast also includes Eric Anderson (Burrs), James Black (Eddie), Innis Casey (Black), Kirsten Benton Chandler (Madelaine True), Nathan Lee Graham (Phil), Daren A. Herbert (Oscar), Juile Dixon Jackson (Mae), Michael Kostroff (Goldberg), Peter Van Norden (Gold), Sasha Wexler (Nadine), and Sam Zeller (Jackie).

The show will be performed unamplified. It will be directed by Daniel Henning, with choreography by Lanier, lighting design by Steven Young, costume design by Dan Peterson, and wig and make-up design by Judi Lewin. Former E.R. star Noah Wyle is producing the show in collaboration with Eddie Mills and Stacy Reed.

The Wild Party has a score by LaChiusa and a book by LaChiusa and George C. Wolfe, based on the poem by Joseph Moncure Marsh. The musical opened on Broadway in April 2000; it played 36 previews and 68 performances and was nominated for seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Score.
