The cast of Off-Broadway’s Now. Here. This., which ran in March and April at the Vineyard Theatre will head into the recording studio on September 17 to lay down tracks for the musical’s original cast recording. The album, which will be distributed by Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlight Records, is available to pre-order on the show’s Kickstarter page through August 30.
The show’s stars Hunter Bell, Susan Blackwell, Heidi Blickenstaff, and Jeff Bowen, and creative team members Michael Berresse and Larry Pressgrove set a goal on the fundraising website to raise $75,000 to cover costs, offering incentives at various price points, including the ability to receive an autographed copy of the recording and to attend the recording session. They have currently raised over $85,000.
All six artists have collaborated on the piece and previously worked together on [title of show]. Now. Here. This. features a book by Bell and Blackwell, with music and lyrics by Bowen.
