Less the Band, Featuring Adam Rapp, Paul Sparks et. al., to Perform at Mercury Lounge

Playwright Adam Rapp, and actors Michael Chernus, Paul Sparks, Ray Rizzo and Rob Beitzel will be performing at Mercury Lounge on August 12. The quintet will be at the downtown club as their alter-ego: Less the band.

Less was formed while Rapp’s Finer Noble Gases was being presented at Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre in 2004. The final moments of the play required that the company perform as a rock band, and after the production closed, the company kept performing, using the name of the group that had been in the play.
