Tickling Leo, a new film written and directed by Jeremy Davidson and produced by actress Mary Stuart Masterson, will open in New York City on September 4, the same day it is available by DVD and by digital download.

The film is a fictional story inspired by the controversial “Kasztner Train” which took people out of Hungary in World War II. The film stars Daniel Sauli, Annie Parisse, Eli Wallach, Lawrence Pressman, Ronald Guttman, and Victoria Clark.

Davidson is best known as an actor, having starred in the Kennedy Center’s production of Cat on a Hot Tin roof and the Manhattan Theatre Club production of Back Back Back, which earned him a Drama Desk Award nomination. Masterson appeared on Broadway as Luisa in the revival of Nine, for which she received a Tony Award nomination.
