PHOTO FLASH: Cast Members from Broadway’s Hair Judge Costume Contest at Ticket Giveaway

The Tony Award-winning revival of Hair: The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical celebrated its return to Broadway by giving away 100 free tickets to the show’s first performance, on Tuesday, July 5. Fans began lining up on the evening of July 4 outside of the St. James Theatre, where the musical’s first national touring company will be playing a limited engagement through September 10.

A costume contest for fans dressed in hippie attire also took place. Members of the cast served as judges and awarded walk-on roles in a future performance and five free tickets to Jeremy Wein and Stephanie Guerrera.

The current cast stars Steel Burkhardt as Berger, Paris Remillard as Claude, Matt DeAngelis as Woof, Kaitlin Kiyan as Crissy, Darius Nichols as Hud, Kacie Sheik as Jeanie, Phyre Hawkins as Dionne and Caren Lyn Tackett as Sheila.

The company also features Shaleah Adkisson, Emily Afton, Nicholas Belton, Larkin Bogan, Corey Bradley, Marshal Kennedy Carolan, Laura Dreyfuss, Mike Evariste, Lulu Fall, Tripp Fountain, Nkrumah Gatling, Allison Guinn, Sara King, Josh Lamon, John Moauro, Christine Nolan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Arbender Robinson, Cailan Rose, Tanesha Ross, Jen Sese and Lee Zarrett.
