The Amoralists to Revive Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side, Happy in the Poorhouse at P.S. 122

The Amoralists will revive their productions of Derek Ahonen’s The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side and Happy in The Poorhouse at P.S. 122. Ahonen has directed his scripts.

The Pied Pipers of the Lower East Side will run July 29 – August 9 and focuses on a gathering of young idealists who live above a vegan restaurant in NYC. The company will feature James Kautz (Billy), Nick Lawson (Evan), Sarah Lemp (Dear), Charles Meola (Donovan), Mandy Moore (Dawn), and Matthew Pilieci (Wyatt)

The Happy In The Poorhouse (August 12-23) focuses on a man who is just one MMA fight away from the big-time and the obstacles that are keeping him from it. The company will feature William Apps, Selene Beretta, James Kautz, Nick Lawson, Sarah Lemp, Morton Matthews, Rochelle Mikulich, Matthew Pilieci, Mark Riccadonna, Meghan Ritchie, and Leal Vona.

The creative team will include Alfred Schatz (scenic design), Jeremy Pape lighting design), and Ricky Lang (costume design), along with Bart Lucas (sound design, Pied Pipers) and The Hernandez Brothers (sound design, Poorhouse).
