Susan Lucci to Write Memoir

All My Children star and Broadway veteran Susan Lucci will write a memoir, to be released next year by Harper Collins It Books, according to The Associated Press.

Lucci played Annie Oakley in the most recent Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun, has performed in nightclubs including Feinstein's at Loews Regency, and in the annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS Salutes Daytime benefits.

She is best known for having played Erica Kane on All My Children since the show's inception in 1970, and won the 1999 Daytime Emmy Award for her performance. She has been nominated for a total of 21 Daytime Emmys.

Lucci has also starred in numerous television films, including Ebbie, Lady Mobster, Mafia Princess, and Invitation to Hell, and appeared on the hit ABC show Dancing with the Stars.
