The show, to be created by David Milch and Michael Mann, focuses on the world of horse racing, and will shoot at Santa Anita Park and other Los Angeles locations. It also stars Dennis Farina, Jason Gedrick, and Nick Nolte.
Hoffman's Broadway credits include Death of a Salesman, The Merchant of Venice, All Over Town, Jimmy Shine and The Subject Was Roses. He received Oscars for Rain Man and Kramer Vs. Kramer and was nominated for Wag the Dog, Tootsie, Lenny, Midnight Cowboy, and The Graduate.
