Margaret Colin, Eisa Davis, Marin Ireland, Bill Pullman, et al. Set for Powerhouse Readings Festival 2

Casting has been announced for New York Stage & Film’s Powerhouse Readings Festival 2, to be held at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, July 31-August 2.

The festival will begin with Dan Moran’s Soul Cake (July 30 at 8pm), directed by David Wohl and starring Brian Dykstra, Joel Farrell, Peter Gerety, Michael Lewis, Chris McCann, and Jay Patterson. It will be followed by Pirate (July 31 at 8pm), written and directed by John Patrick Shanley, and starring Ron Menzel, Fisher Stevens, Emily Swallow, and Yul Vazquez; Regina Taylor’s Rain (August 1 at 2pm), directed by Sheryl Kaller and starring Eisa Davis, Harriett D. Foy, Lizan Mitchell, and Tonye Patano; Andrew Dolan’s That Good Night (August 2 at 2pm), directed by Bob Krakower and starring Matthew Arkin, Gerry Bamman, Sheri Graubert, Marin Ireland, Wendy Makkena, Bruce Norris, Mary Beth Peil, and Reg Rogers; and Beth Henley’s The Jacksonian (August 2 at 5pm), directed by Doug Hughes, and starring Margaret Colin, Paul Fitzgerald, Mary Catherine Garrison, Bill Pullman, and Bess Rous.
