Dullea, Hawking, Setlock, et al. Among 2007 IT Award Nominees

The nominees for the 2007 New York Innovative Theatre Awards, better known as the IT Awards, were announced on Monday, July 16. The awards, which honor the best of Off-Off-Broadway, will be presented on September 24.

Shows that received multiple nominations included The Country Wife, West Moon Street, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Trophy Wife,The Flood, and Waxing West.

Among the many acting nominees were Keir Dullea (Strings), Judith Hawking (West Moon Street), Susan Louise O’Connor (the silent concerto), Joe Plummer (As You Like It), and Mark Setlock (Never Tell).

In addition, the casts of 6969, Bouffon Glass Menajoree, Dancing vs. the Rat Experiment,The Fall & Rise of the Rising Fallen, Mad Forest, and Some Historic, Some Hysteric, were nominated for Best Ensemble.
