Theater and television great Larry Hagman will star in a one-night performance of Laugh With a Texas Legend: An Evening With Larry Hagman on Saturday, August 26 at Casa Manana Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas. Proceeds from the event will benefit Casa Manana’s Arts Education and Outreach Programs.

In addition to telling anecdotes about his life, Hagman, a native of Fort Worth, will show slides, film clips, and outtakes from his work, including his successful television shows I Dream of Jeannie and Dallas, in which he played the notorious J.R. Ewing.

Hagman made his stage debut in the London production of South Pacific opposite his mother, the legendary musical theater star Mary Martin. He appeared in five Broadway shows, including Comes A Day, God and Kate Murphy (for which he won a Theater World Award), and The Nervous Set, and also performed in regional theater.
