Golden Globe Award winner Kim Cattrall, film star Rhys Ifans, Tony Award winner Ian McDiarmid, and London stage favorite Penelope Wilton will appear this season at London’s Donmar Warehouse.

Cattrall will star in David Mamet’s play The Cryptogram, directed by Josie Rourke, October 12-November 25. The actress is best known for her work as Samantha Jones on Sex and the City and appeared on the London stage in Whose Life Is It Anyway?

Ifans will have the leading role in Don Juan in Soho, Patrick Marber’s 21st-century adaptation of Moliere’s classic play, to run November 6-February 7. The production will be directed by Michael Grandage, the Donmar’s artistic director. Ifans’ film credits include Notting Hill, Vanity Fair, and Dancing at Lughnasa.

McDiarmid, who won this year’s Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Faith Healer, will take on the title role of David Eldridge’s adaptation of Ibsen’s John Gabriel Borkman, February 15-April 14. The show will co-star Wilton, who starred in the Donmar’s production of The Little Foxes. She was recently seen onscreen in Match Point and is part of the cast of the film version of The History Boys.

The Donmar’s next attraction is Frost/Nixon, August 10-October 7, starring Tony Award winner Frank Langella and Michael Sheen. For more information, visit www.donmarwarehouse.com.
