Tony Award-winner Randy Graff will star as advice columnist Ann Landers in the world-premiere production of David Rambo’s The Lady with All the Answers at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego. The play, to be directed by Tom Moore, will run August 6-September 11.

In Rambo’s play, which is drawn from Landers’ life and letters, the columnist suddenly finds herself with a deadline looming for a column on a new kind of heartbreak: her own. Rambo’s other plays include God’s Man in Texas and The Ice-Breaker, which will premiere next February at the Magic Theater in San Francisco. He is on the writing staff of the hit CBS drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Graff won the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for City of Angels. Her many Broadway credits include the revival of Fiddler on the Roof, A Class Act, Moon Over Buffalo, Laughter On The 23rd Floor, and Les Misérables , in which she originated the role of Fantine.

Moore is a two-time Tony Award nominee, for directing the original Broadway production of ‘night, Mother, and the musical Over Here. His other Broadway credits include the original production of Grease, Moon Over Buffalo, and Frankenstein.
