Alan Cumming celebrated a landmark occasion on Friday, June 27: his 500th performance as the Emcee in Cabaret. Cumming has played the role since the mid-1990s, when he originated it in Sam Mendes' revival at the Donmar Warehouse in London, before moving to Broadway in 1998 and winning a Tony Award. He's currently at it once again in the show's current Broadway revival at Studio 54. To toast the occasion, Cumming and his cast members had a party at the Kit Kat Klub following the performance.
