Jim Brochu and Steve Schalchlin will offer a concert version of their musical The Last Session on Wednesday, June 23 at 8pm at the Theatre at St. Clement’s. The event will benefit the church’s food pantry and free veterinary clinic.

With music and lyrics by Schalchlin and a book by Brochu, the show is based on characters from Schalchlin’s life. The company will also feature original cast members Amy Coleman and Michele Mais, along with Tom Rhoads.

Brochu recently won a Drama Desk Award for Zero Hour. With Schalchin, he has also written the musical The Big Voice – God or Merman? and the team is at work on a new show, Manhattan Clam Chowder.

Tickets for the concert will be $20 or whatever one can afford. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
