Phylicia Rashad to Give Free Lecture on June 9

Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad will give a free lecture at 7pm on Monday, June 9 at the Stella Adler Studio (31 West 27th Street).
Rashad is currently starring on Broadway as Big Mama in her sister Debbie Allen’s production of Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. She won the 2004 Tony Award for Best Actress for her performance in A Raisin in the Sun and received a 2005 Tony nomination for Gem of the Ocean. She is well known for her work in TV’s The Cosby Show and Cosby.
The lecture, which is part of the Studio’s Harold Clurman Lecture Series, will be followed by a short question-and-answer session. Reservations are required; call 212-689-0087.
