Michael Greif will direct a 20th anniversary production of Howard Korder’s Boys’ Life at Second Stage Theatre, with previews beginning October 2. Casting will be announced at a later date.

Boys’ Life is a stinging and candid look at three college buddies making their way in the big city. As they maneuver between life and sex in New York, Korder lacerates the prolonged adolescence that often takes the place of modern manhood.

Greif recently directed Second Stage’s production of Next to Normal. He received Tony nominations for his work on Grey Gardens and Rent, and additional credits include Never Gonna Dance, Satellites, Landscape of the Body, Mr. Marmalade, and Beauty of the Father.

Korder’s other plays include Search and Destroy, Sea of Tranquility, The Hollow Lands, The Lights, Fun, and Nobody.
