Meg Gibson, Tim Guinee, and Ray Anthony Thomas will star in the world premiere of Keith Reddin’s Human Error, which will play the Atlantic Theater Company’s Stage 2, August 1-26. The production, which will open officially on August 8, will be directed by Tracy Brigden.

The play concerns the aftermath of a plane crash, where two investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board find themselves involved in the life of a survivor and drawn into a romantic entanglement. Reddin’s many previous plays include Frame 312, Brutality of Fact, and Rum and Coke.

The show’s creative team features Luke Cantarella (sets), Markus Henry (costumes), Jeff Croiter (lighting), and Eric Shim (sound). Brigden is the artistic director of City Theatre in Pittsburgh, where she recently directed the world premiere of Reddin’s The Missionary Position.

Gibson’s stage credits include The Ride Down Mt. Morgan and From Above. Guinee co-starred in the original production of subUrbia as well as the Public Theater productions of Twelfth Night and Richard II. Thomas is a member of the Atlantic, where his credits include Edmond, The Lights, and Beginning of August. He is also an Obie winner for Volunteer Man.
