Broadway Under the Stars, the anual free evening of all-star entertainment, will feature songs from the productions of legendary director and producer Harold Prince. This year’s event will take place on Monday, June 26 at 8pm on the Great Lawn in Central Park. A fireworks finale will follow the performance.

Prince is the recipient of 21 Tony Awards — the most ever by one person — including this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award. He directed such Broadway shows as A Little Night Music, Cabaret, Evita, Follies, Pacific Overtures, Parade, Sweeney Todd, and The Phantom of the Opera; he is currently directing the Las Vegas version of Phantom. His productions include Damn Yankees, The Pajama Game, West Side Story and Fiddler on the Roof.

The show will be directed by Jeff Calhoun, with choreography by Chase Brock, and Phil Reno will lead the live orchestra. WCBS-TV will televise a one-hour special from the concert on Saturday, July 15 at 7pm.
