Bruce Kimmel Launches "Kritzerland" Record Label

Bruce Kimmel, the record producer known for his work at Varèse Sarabande and for starting Fynsworth Alley, is launching a new label: Krtizerland, named for a character in three novels written by Kimmel.

The label’s initial offerings are New Guy in Town (a solo album by Kimmel, who sings under the name “Guy Haines”) and the original cast recording of the Irish Repertory Theater production of the Noël Coward musical After the Ball. Both CDs are scheduled to be released on July 21.

Kritzerland recordings will be available at select stores, via digital download sites including iTunes and CDBaby, and through the company’s own website www.Kritzerland.com.

In addition, the company is selling Jeepers Creepers: Great Songs from Horror Films, which Kimmel recorded a couple of years ago. The album features cuts by such Broadway stars as Brent Barrett, Judy Kaye, Rebecca Luker, and Christiane Noll.
