Broadway Notables to Appear in Juvenile Diabetes Benefit

Jesse Vargas of the recent Off-Broadway musical bare will serve as musical director of Cabaret for the Cure, a benefit for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to be held on Monday, June 14. Among those scheduled to perform are Alison Fraser (The Secret Garden), Max von Essen (Dance of the Vampires), Matt Cavenaugh (Urban Cowboy), Sriram Ganesan (Bombay Dreams), Jenna Leigh Green (bare), Dennis Moench (Fame), Andrew Lippa (composer of The Wild Party), and Caitlin van Zandt (who appeared in the movie Camp). Shannon Davies, the current Miss Metropolitan Manhattan and contender for the Miss New York title, will host the event.


Cabaret for the Cure will take place on Monday, June 14 at 8:30pm at the St. Clements Theatre, located at 423 West 46th Street between 9th and 10th avenues. Tickets are priced at $25 for general admission, $20 for students with valid ID. Reservations may be made by calling 212-246-7277 ext. 32.
