PHOTO FLASH: Glee‘s Dot-Marie Jones Visits Broadway’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert

On Sunday, May 15, Glee cast member Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste on the hit FOX series, visited Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical at the Palace Theatre. The production is directed by Simon Phillips.

Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott have adapted the show from the Academy Award-winning film about three friends searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback. The score is made up of well-known songs, including “It’s Raining Men,” “I Say A Little Prayer,” “Always on My Mind,” and “Finally.”

Bryan West played the role of Adam/Felicia at the performance, covering for star Nick Adams. The show’s cast also includes Tony Sheldon (Bernadettte), Will Swenson (Tick/Mitzi), Mike McGowan (Frank), C. David Johnson (Bob), James Brown III (Jimmy), Nathan Lee Graham (Miss Understanding), J. Elaine Marcos (Cynthia), Jessica Phillips (Marion), Steve Schepis (Farrah), and Keala Settle (Shirley).
