The Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Sondheim on Sondheim, at Studio 54, canceled its 2pm matinee on Wednesday, May 5, due to the illness of two company members: Vanessa Williams and Erin Mackey, who are unable to perform.

According to a press statement, "Ms. Williams and Ms. Mackey share an understudy and therefore additional time is needed to rehearse a second understudy. The company will rehearse today to be able to resume performances this evening at 8PM as scheduled."

This new music theater piece with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim also stars Barbara Cook, Leslie Kritzer, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton, Matthew Scott, and Tom Wopat.
