Lucie Arnaz, Bryan Batt, Louis Gossett, Jr., LaChanze, et al. Set for May Barnes & Noble Events

Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (Broadway and 66th Street) has announced its calendar of May public events, which will include, as previously announced, a reading and book-signing appearance on May 3 by Bryan Batt, in conjunction with his newly released She Ain’t Heavy, She’s My Mother.

Other events on the store’s schedule include one featuring Tony Award winner LaChanze, who will read from and sign her new children’s book Little Diva (May 11) and a talk and book-signing featuring Louis Gossett, Jr., who will be celebrating his autobiography An Actor and A Gentleman (May 24). Additionally Henry Winkler will appear at the store on May 7 to read and sign the latest in his Hank Zipzer series about the adventures of a boy with learning differences.

The store’s Any Wednesday cabaret series will spotlight Joyce Breach (May 5), D.C. Anderson (May 12), Lucie Arnaz (May 19), who will appear with Joe Luckinbill, and Hector Coris (May 26). Other musical appearances will include a workshop for teenagers with the New York Philharmonic’s Phil Teens (May 7), a performance/CD-signing event with jazz vocalist Beat Kaestli (May 10), a concert by The Beethoven Project Trio (May 15), and a concert by Nikki Yanofsky (May 25).
