Marcy Harriell, Brian Henderson, and Manu Narayan will star in Anton Dudley’s Getting Home, which will kick off the Second Stage Theatre Uptown’s Summer Season at the McGinn/Cazale Theater. The play, to be directed by David Schweizer, will run June 5-July 1 and will open officially on June 14.

The show is described as an urban fairy tale set on the island of Manhattan. Dudley’s other plays include Slag Heap and The Lake’s End; Schweizer has directed such Off-Broadway shows as Wintertime, Songs from an Unmade Bed and White Chocolate.

Harriell was seen on Broadway in Lennon, in the City Center Encores! production of Kismet, and the Second Stage’s productions of Little Fish and Sorrows and Rejoicings. Henderson’s Off-Broadway credits include In the Wings and As You Like It. Narayan starred on Broadway in Bombay Dreams and recently appeared Off-Broadway in Sidd.

The season will continue with Rajiv Joseph’s All This Intimacy, to be directed by Giovanna Sardelli. It will run July 17-August 12 and will open officially on July 27. The play focuses on Guy, a lusty 30-year-old poet who’s involved in simultaneous relationships with numerous women. Joseph’s play Huck and Holden, which was also directed by Sardelli, was recently seen in New York.
