Cooper, Finley, Jackson, Opel, et al. Set for The Broadway Musicals of 1978

Broadway stars Chuck Cooper, Felicia Finley, Cheyenne Jackson, Nancy Lemenager, Nancy Opel, Christine Pedi, and Noah Racey, along with cabaret notables Julie Garnye and Lennie Watts, will be featured in The Broadway Musicals of 1978 on Monday, June 19 at 8pm at The Town Hall (123 West 43rd Street).
The concert will be directed by Bryan Batt, who will also perform. It will be hosted by Scott Siegel, creator of the Broadway by the Year series, and will feature musical numbers from such shows as On the Twentieth Century, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, Dancin’, and Working.
According to Siegel, more cast members will be announced shortly. “One of the advantages of having a large cast is that you can more accurately match the song with the singer,” he says.
