Chalfant, O’Hare, Lang, Seldes, Spinella, et al. Set for Symphony Space’s Bloomsday

Kathleen Chalfant, Stephen Lang, Denis O’Hare, Marian Seldes, and Stephen Spinella will be among the more than 80 artists participating in Bloomsday on Broadway, Symphony Space’s annual all-day reading of James Joyce’s landmark novel Ulysses. The event will take place from noon to midnight on Friday, June 16, and be hosted by Isaiah Sheffer. It will be taped for later broadcast on WBAI Radio.

This year’s event will also include readings from Joyce’s A Portrait of the Artist and numerous works by playwright Samuel Beckett, including the complete text of Krapp’s Last Tape and selections from his novel Molloy. Other participants will include Mia Dillon, Keir Dullea, Fionulla Flanagan, Jonathan Hadary, Paul Hecht, Larry Keith, David Margulies, Frank McCourt, Malachy McCourt, Roger Hendricks Simon, Fritz Weaver, and opera singers Kevin Burdette and Lisa Flanagan.
