Naked Angels Postpones Premiere of Bekah Brunstetter’s A Long and Happy Life to 2012

Naked Angels’ previously reported world premiere production of Bekah Brunstetter’s A Long and Happy Life, originally planned for this summer under Pippin Parker’s direction, will be postponed to the 2012 season.

In a statement, incoming Artistic Director Andy Donald said, “When a major funding source fell through several weeks ago, we were unable to replace it in time to produce the show as scheduled. Despite our absolute confidence in the play, it became clear that postponing was the most responsible decision for the company.”

Plans for Naked Angels’ world premiere production of Zayd Dohrn’s Outside People for Fall 2011 will go forward as previously announced.
