Sally Mayes, Howard McGillin, Lillias White, Rachel York, et al. Set for The Best Is Yet to Come: The Music of Cy Coleman

David Burnham, Sally Mayes, Howard McGillin, Billy Stritch, Lillias White, and Rachel York will star in The Best Is Yet to Come: The Music of Cy Coleman, to be presented at 59E59 Theaters, May 18-July 3 as part of the venue’s Americas Off Broadway series. The production is directed and devised by David Zippel.

The show includes as-yet unpublished Coleman works, along with songs from several of Coleman’s musicals, including City of Angels, Sweet Charity, Barnum, The Life, Little Me and Will Rogers Follies. Also featured will be many of the standards he wrote (with lyricist Carolyn Leigh) that were made famous by Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Barbra Streisand.
