Angelina Ballerina the Musical to End Run at Union Square Theatre March 13

The Vital Theater Company’s production of Angelina Ballerina the Musical will end its run at Off-Broadway’s Union Square Theater on March 13. Sam Viverito has directed and choreographed the production.

Based on the famous dancing mouseling and her friends created by Katharine Holabird and illustrated by Helen Craig, the family-friendly musical features book and lyrics by Susan DiLallo, with music by Ben Morss. The show intends to re-open at a new NYC location, to be announced.

The cast currently features Carole Ashley, Ronn Burton, Amber Coartney, Alexis Field, Jessica Freitas, Kara Jones, Harmony Livingston, Maggie Gomez-Madonia, Whitney Autumn Meyer, Cassie Okenka, Wesley Tunison, Kevin Michael Wade, Jake Weinstein, Amy White, Tiffany Weisend and Amanda Yachechak.

The production features sets by Kyle Dixon, costumes by Elisabeth Vastola, lighting by Josh Bradford, and sound engineering by Martin Peacock.
