Jason Danieley and the Frontier Heroes to Offer May 10 Actors Fund Performance

Jason Danieley and the Frontier Heroes will offer a concert at Feinstein’s at The Regency to benefit the Actors Fund on May 10.

The group’s style, sometimes described as “eclectic Americana,” has been created by Danieley and pianist/composer/arranger Dan Lipton, and on the band’s first CD, they delivered songs by such songwriters as Lionel Bart, Leslie Bricusse, James van Heusen & Sammy Cahn, Loudon Wainwright, George Michael, and Stevie Wonder.

In addition to Danieley and Lipton, the Frontier Heroes includes Christian Hebel (fiddle/vocals), Mark Vanderpoel (bass), Damien Bassman (percussion, Michael Aarons (guitar, banjor, mandolin), and Theresa McCarthy (vocals).

Danieley’s theater credits include Curtains, The Full Monty and Candide on Broadway in addition to Strike Up the Band and A Tree Grows in Brooklyn with Encores!. In addition to the debut CD he released with the band, he and wife Marin Mazzie are heard on the album Opposite You.
