Eisa Davis, Camen deLavallade, et al. Set for An Evening with Women of Excellence

Hope Boykin, Eisa Davis, Carmen deLavallade, and Sonia Sanchez will participate in The Riverside Theatre’s panel discussion, An Evening with Women of Excellence, to be held at 7pm on Monday, March 29 at the Riverside Church. Michaela Angela Davis will serve as host.

The event will feature the artists in conversation, focusing on their work and experiences in the worlds of theater and dance. A brief reception will follow the discussion.

Boykin is currently a member of Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre; Davis was seen in Passing Strange on Broadway and has written such plays as Bulrusher and Angela’s Mixtape; DeLevallade was a principal dancer with the Metropolitan Opera and appeared on Broadway in House of Flowers; and Sanchez has authored more than a dozen books of poetry, as well as some plays.
