Neil LaBute, Gretchen Mol, Piper Perabo, et al. Set for TimesTalks

Playwright Neil LaBute will participate in the TimesTalks series, sponsored by The New York Times, at 6:30pm on Monday, March 23 at The TimesCenter. Reporter Patrick Healy will be the evening’s moderator.

LaBute will be joined by actors Gretchen Mol and Kerry Washington, along with Marin Ireland, Steven Pasquale, Piper Perabo, and Thomas Sadoski, who are all starring in his play reasons to be pretty, which began previews on March 13 at the Lyceum Theatre.

LaBute’s works for stage include,Bash: Latter-Day Plays, The Shape of Things, The Mercy Seat, Fat Pig, Some Girl(s), and Wrecks. His films include In The Company of Men, Your Friends and Neighbors, and Lakeview Terrace. He is scheduled to direct a remake of the British film Death at a Funeral.
