Stephanie J. Block to Guest Star With Jim Brickman at Birdland

Stephanie J. Block, who recently concluded her role as Elphaba in the national tour of Wicked, will guest star with pianist/singer Jim Brickman, when he performs as part of The Spring Season at Birdland at 7pm on Monday, March 20 and March 21. He will also be joined on both nights by Mike Eldred, who played Jean Valjean in the Broadway company of Les Miserables.

Block starred on Broadway as Liza Minnelli in The Boy from Oz, and previously performed her own solo show at Birdland. She is reportedly set to star later this year in the Broadway-bound musical The Pirate Queen.

Brickman’s many CDs include Love Songs and Lullabies, Destiny Grace, The Disney Songbook, and Simple Things. Among his best known songs are Beautiful and Love of My Life.
