Grammy Award Winner Whitney Houston Has Died

Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Whitney Houston died on Saturday, February 11 at age 48, according to reports.

She was found in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. No cause of death has been announced.

Houston appeared in such films as The Bodyguard, Waiting to Exhale, and The Preacher's Wife, and was filming the musical Sparkle opposite Jordin Sparks. She also appeared in the television version of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy.

Her many CDs include her debut album, Whitney Houston, Whitney, and My Love Is Your Love, and her numerous hit singles included "Saving All My Love for You,". "How Will I Know," "You Give Good Love" and "The Greatest Love of All," "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," and "I Will Always Love You."

She is survived by her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.
